Why choose for Eneco?

Eneco fully commits to sustainability. Eneco has drafted a progressive sustainability plan, which entails that its own activities and the energy supplied to customers will be climate-neutral by 2035. Are you also passionate about a sustainable future? Then we need your help!

Within Eneco's international trading department, Eneco Energy Trading (EET), we aim to be a top player in the North European energy market in providing flexibility and grid stabilization through the use of sustainable energy.

The Business Change Management team ensures efficient implementation of the continuous changes needed to remain competitive in the energy trading market, both in our technical landscape and existing work processes. Process optimization is essential to improve the quality and efficiency of our processes. In this way, our IT landscape is prepared to connect as much sustainable energy as possible for now and in the future!

What you’ll do

Within the Operations & IT department, the Business Change Management (BCM) team is responsible for managing the EET project funnel, executing projects, and optimizing processes across the department. Together with eight development teams working via our SAFe framework, a wide range of projects is executed. These projects all contribute to Eneco's One Planet Plan, aiming for a climate-neutral stance by 2035.

As a Business Change Consultant, you'll guide and optimize various processes within our organization. Whether technical, commercial, financial, or combined processes, you can identify improvement opportunities and promote efficiency. You'll closely collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives, translating these into practical improvements. You play a pivotal role in helping different departments improve their processes and elevate them to the next level. With your knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, you'll minimize waste, reduce lead times, and enhance the quality of our processes. You'll facilitate workshops and meetings to engage employees in finding solutions and promoting process improvements. Through regular in-depth analyses, you'll measure and monitor process performance, generating reports for the management team.

Some examples of tasks include:

  • Ensuring, together with the process owners, the main processes of EET and maintaining them.
  • Contributing to the Life Cycle Management process with DTS colleagues to have a well-functioning application landscape.

Your proactive and results-driven approach ensures improvements are implemented and transitions to new processes go smoothly. You'll communicate effectively with various stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making by providing clear insights. As a Business Change Process Consultant, you play a key role in creating streamlined and high-quality processes within our organization. The role is challenging due to the highly complex environment and offers ample opportunities for further skill and expertise development.
