What you’ll do

You will be part of the Enabling Technology (ET) department and work in the Enabling Platform Data team. This team designs, builds and maintains the data platform and enables other data teams to create data products on top of this platform. You’re main activities are: 

  • Design, build and maintain the platform related CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide technical support on long-term strategy for self-service platforms and emerging data technologies.
  • Help develop and maintain our data platform (Snowflake) that support data teams in creating data products.
  • Contribute to standards, including automated testing, to enhance platform maturity.
  • Assist in monitoring and supporting the daily operations of the data platforms, ensuring business continuity in collaboration with IT Operations.
  • You will partake in 24/7 shifts in the future to keep our platform running.

Is this about you?

  • At least 5 years of experience in design and realization of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Broad experience with DevOps and tooling such as Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell and Azure DevOps.
  • You know how to manage a data platform in Snowflake.
  • Experience with one or more of the following are preferred: Airflow, Grafana, Azure (Blob Storage, Event Grid/Storage Queues, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Entra ID and Security), Azure DevOps Git, Python, Collibra and DBT.
  • Has demonstrable experience in working with multidisciplinary teams in complex environments with an agile way of working.
  • Good problem-solving skills, and an eye for detail.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Ensure platform pipelines are mature, purpose-driven, highly available, audit proof and aligned with the shift toward self-service platforms.
  • Assists the Tech Leads Data by assuring that Eneco will adopt best practices around our data platform and CI/CD pipelines within Enabling Platforms.
  • Foster data literacy by educating users on how to effectively interpret and use the data platform pipelines.
  • Monitor and provide issue and change management support to maintain the continuity of the data platform and pipelines for all users.

This is where you’ll work

You will work within the central unit Data & Technology Services (DTS) in the department Enabling Platforms (EP). The EP Data Chapter team, 7 team members, consists of a Product Owner, two Tech Leads and four data engineers. Stakeholders will be representatives from internal business units and other DTS data teams.

What we have to offer

Gross annual salary between €67.000 and €90.000
