You will work in the team of the manager IT Trading & Asset management. Within this team you will ensure that the IT landscape is prepared and ready for real-time management. Of course you anticipate on the questions of the Trading business in order to have the systems in optimal use.

What you’ll do

As a Scada DevOps Engineer, you will work with Industrial Automation solutions (A.I.) as a true professional in order to enable Asset Monitoring, Management, Control and Optimization. You will work closely together with colleagues who are responsible for the real time steering of our assets such as our asset dispatch team. But also our Traders have an influence on this. You will therefore analyze the complex questions and translate them into (partial) solutions on a functional but also on a technical level.

You work together as a team to realize one mission. You are proactive in helping to accelerate the energy transition. You create space to exchange insights and opinions with colleagues and you take responsibility for contributing to the joint plan. In addition, you have:

  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy/utilities industry;
  • Knowledge and experience with SAT SCALA, SCADA and RTU/PLC systems;
  • Knowledge and experience of various OT protocols ( e.g. IEC 60870-5-104, OPC, ICCP);
  • Knowledge of Trade markets;
  • Knowledge of market rules/legislation (such as REMIT);
  • Knowledge of nomination tools (e.g. Gen);
  • Knowledge of BoFIT.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Designing solutions throughout the Real Time Steering Assets (RTSA) chain;
  • Programming, configuring and managing the systems in the RTSA: e.g. SCALA and BOFIT;
  • Operating in a 24/7 environment, as part of the stand-by arrangement;
  • Analyzing and structuring complex issues and then translating these into concrete and defined (partial) solutions in both functional and technical areas;
  • Providing support to Energy Operations (Energy Trade) and Short Term Desk (Energy Trade).

Gross year salary of
between €43.000 and €69.000
