OT Security Officer Offshore Wind

Our wind farms are logically connected via an Operational Technology (OT) network operated, managed, and maintained by a specialized OT service provider. The OT network is crucial for the operation and monitoring of the wind farms. The wind farms are classified as critical infrastructure and need to comply with the NIS2 directive. You are responsible for restricting digital access to our wind farms and to maximize OT system uptime and availability. 

Eneco security professionals need to have a hybrid skillset to be able to fulfil their cyber security role within the Renewable Power environment. These competencies consist of cyber security, engineering, and risk management related competencies. You can quickly master new environments and situations. You have focus, attention to detail and execution power. All of this combined with great communication skills to deal with a large number of stakeholders. 

Furthermore: 

Bachelor or Master degree in Information security domain; 

3-5 year experience with Operations Technology (OT);

Detailed knowledge of ISO27001 and ISA99/IEC 62443 standards;

(Ambition to become) certified in Critical Infrastructure Protection (GCIP), Information Security Professional (GISP) or Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP);

Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing in English and Dutch;

Flexible approach to travel and working offshore.

• Safe operation of the windfarms and contribute to pro-active safety culture;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of our security management systems with regards to industry standards and best practices. 
• Ensure system custodians comply with our OT security requirements and processes.
• Ensuring deviations or exceptions are documented, risk assessed and presented to management
• Define security requirements for OT replacement projects as part of life cycle management.
• Contribute to latest OT architecture for new assets based on lessons learned.
• Leading role in handling cyber security incidents, threats and vulnerabilities.

We are a leading wind farm operator in Northwest Europe which enables synergies and growth opportunities. Eneco Wind Operations Offshore (EWOO) is based in the ports of IJmuiden (NL) and Ostend (B) from where several windfarms are being operated. The OT security officer is positioned within the EWOO team in IJmuiden but will also support the operations departments responsible for onshore wind in the Netherlands, Belgium and UK. The corporate security officers are based at the Eneco HQ in Rotterdam.
