From the Data & Technology Services department, we are working to make Eneco a data-driven organization that bases its decisions and actions on customer, product, asset, and market data.

What you’ll do

  • You will architect and fine-tune data models on our cutting-edge Snowflake platform, ensuring efficient data processing with your expertise in Snowflake’s SQL dialect and optimization techniques.
  • With a proficient grasp of Azure DevOps, you will manage CI/CD pipelines, code repositories, and automated testing strategies.
  • Your scripting skills, particularly in Python, will be key in automating repetitive tasks for efficiency gains.
  • Additionally, your understanding of the Scrum framework and Apache Airflow will contribute to an agile and well-orchestrated data operation.
  • You will be modelling and building the datavault from the functional designs.
  • It's likely that weekend shifts will be part of this position in the near future, where we rotate these shifts wthin the team.

Is this about you?

  • Adept in the architecture, data loading, storage options, and security features of the Snowflake cloud data platform - experience with maintaining Data Vaults and Data Marts
  • Competent in Azure DevOps for CI/CD, with a solid understanding of code management and automated testing deployment strategies.
  • Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.
  • Familiar with the Scrum framework and Apache Airflow's architecture and concepts.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Designing and maintaining Data Vaults and Data Marts within Snowflake, ensuring high performance and security.
  • Implementing data solutions that foster business growth, utilizing Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Datavault in a secure, compliant manner.
  • Embracing the Scrum framework to facilitate agile project management and employing Apache Airflow for efficient workflow orchestration.
  • You build it, you run it. Ensuring that everything keeps on running!

Data & Technology Services has multiple departments; Data Services has 3 teams – an enterprise datamanagement team, a data analytics team and a data engineer team.

What we have to offer

Gross annual salary between €79.000 and €108.000

Including FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance, and depending on your role a bonus or collective profit sharing.
