What you’ll do

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll join the Chronos Trading Product Family to lead the data processing and infrastructure for asset backed trading initiatives. This role will involve helping the trading team to optimize trading across commodities using a wide breadth of both internal asset and external market data. 

Is this about you?

  • Relevant experience in product management, bonus if it's in the trading data and technology domain. Energy & commodity trading are preferred, but experience in supporting trading in futures and derivatives in other asset classes is also welcome.
  • Proven expertise in developing scalable, high-performance data platform products from scratch.
  • Experience in automated or algorithmic trading.
  • Ability to define and drive product vision and roadmap, aligning with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Bonus: experience and knowledge within the energy markets

You’ll be responsible for

  • Defining the vision and product strategy for data and infra part the Asset Backed Trading domain.
  • Acting as the key liaison between the data engineers, software engineers, traders, market analysts and quantitative analysts. Leading the development of data-driven products that support the energy transition and meet the needs of asset-backed trading
  • Implementing an OKR-driven approach, focusing on measurable outcomes to drive strategic goals.
  • Overseeing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery

This is where you’ll work

You will work in the Tech department of Eneco, but your work will focus fully on initiatives in Trade and Structuring. Almost all your stakeholders will have a background in trading and quantitative analysis. This is a new team so you will have all the benefits of building and creating new data products in a greenfield environment, but also with a responsibility of migrating existing processes. You create your own vision, strategy and tech team around you.

Hybrid working: home, office or abroad

Work 40% at the office, 40% from home, and 20% flexibly. With manager approval, you may work abroad (within approved countries) up to 3 weeks/year, max 2 consecutively.
