Settlement Expert Renewable Energy

As a Settlement Expert, you will work within Eneco Energy Trade and join a team of around 12 enthusiastic professionals. This team is primarily responsible for ensuring the correct and complete financial settlement of complex contracts in the field of Energy Trading.

• You have at least 2-5 years of relevant work experience and a completed Bachelor/Master's degree.
• You can work independently on the topics assigned to you and proactively coordinate with colleagues from all departments of EET, such as IT, commerce, and other operational departments
• You proactively build good relationships with stakeholders inside and outside EET, and even beyond Eneco.
• You serve as a sounding board regarding the standardization and optimization of existing processes.
• You have a strong affinity with process automation and Excel.
• You contribute to the further professionalization and centralization of administrative processes and the use of automation solutions.
• Knowledge of the energy market is a plus.

s a Settlement Expert, you advise and analyze contract agreements with new sustainable flexible assets and translate them into complex models that ensure the financial settlement of all these activities. These assets often require real-time control to balance the electricity grid when demand and supply do not match.

You are the point of contact for the commercial teams when it comes to implementing new assets. For new types of contracts and assets, you think of solutions for non-daily challenges, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the energy market.

With your experience, you can quickly determine what is needed to initiate data & financial settlement, preferably in a scalable manner for the future. You also inform commerce about the choices they can present to our customers to guarantee feasible lead times. In addition, you don't shy away from answering questions from customers about a settlement made.

You enjoy making analyses that span multiple departments, so you get a broad understanding of the value chains and come up with solutions that are valuable to Eneco Energy Trade. You continuously work to make our processes more efficient through standardization and automation to optimally support Eneco's energy transition.
