What you’ll do
As (Sr) Sourcing Excellence Officer you are responsible for:
Sourcing & Contracting Support - Support buyers to set-up sourcing and contracting events in the Ariba Strategic Sourcing suite; Analytical Support for buyers, e.g. conduct spend analysis using our spend analysis tooling (Sievo), analysis of Source-to-Pay processes using our process mining tooling (Celonis), etc.
Skills & Competence Development - Set-up and co-ordinate skills development programs
Reporting, Auditing & Control - Develop, implement and execute controls; Support internal audits, e.g. J-Sox; Building and maintaining of (OGSM) performance reports and other standard reporting; Develop, optimize, maintain PowerBI dashboards and datamodel
SAP EnableNow for Source-to-Contract - Develop and maintain manuals, work instructions, etc. in our platform for self-directed learning (SAP EnableNow) for source-to-contract applications
Continuous improvement of Procure-to-Invoice processes - Using process mining tooling (Celonis) to analyse efficiency of Source-to-Pay processes; prioritize and implement efficiency improvements with buyers and end-users across the business
Procurement Data Steward - responsible for application of data principles and data management activities within the Procurement domain at the operational level
Training of end-users for source-to-contract applications
Develop, maintain and keep up-to-date Procurement Sharepoint, Intranetsite and (external) supplier website
Is this about you?
You are interested in the digitization of Procurement and ensure that you stay up to date through knowledge gathering and training. You are also proactive, structured, solution-oriented, communicative, customer-oriented and you are a team player who can work well with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
You distinguish yourself by working innovatively, creatively, analytically and you bring knowledge from previous Source-to-Contract roles. In addition, you ensure support among your colleagues for the new solutions you propose.
Further you bring:
- Academic work & thinking level
- Experience as a (medior) procurement practitioner
- You have an affinity with purchasing processes, systems and data
- Work experience within an international SAP environment
- Relevant work experience as a key user in the Source-to-Contract processes and systems, ideally the SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite
- You can structure and transfer information
- Solid project management experience
- Good command of the Dutch and English language is a must (oral and written), German and French are a plus

The Procurement department is responsible for the entire procurement within all Eneco companies, and is organized in three Procurement teams: Professional Services, Heat & IT and Solar, Wind & RES.
The Procurement Excellence team focuses on the development, implementation, evaluation and adoption of processes, governance & organization, capabilities, digitization and data & analytics in order to ensure the procurement function meets its commitments to the organization.
The (Sr) Sourcing Excellence Officer function is part of the Procurement Excellence team.
