Strategy Manager

In an energy market that is undergoing radical changes, Eneco is an innovative frontrunner. Innovation, new markets and services, international growth and partnerships with start-ups are an essential part of its strategy. This means Eneco is facing enormous changes in both the short and long term which the Strategy team helps Eneco navigate.

You work together as one team to deliver the plan. In doing so, you are proactive in helping each other to accelerate the energy transition. You create an environment where you can exchange insights and opinions with colleagues and you take responsibility for contributing to the joint plan. In addition, you hold the following qualities: 

•    At least a completed a university level (WO) education, with excellent results;  
•    You have at least 5 years of experience in the field of strategic consulting at a reputable strategy consulting firm;  
•    Excellent analytical and communication skills, backed up with knowledge and experience in modelling and creating compelling presentations 
•    Organizational sensitivity, persuasiveness, execution power and interpersonal skills, with the belief that impact only lasts if achieved together;
•    Passion for the energy transition and preferably experience in the energy sector.

As part of the Strategy team you will be involved in:
•    Defining Eneco's strategic objectives, including steering and monitoring in collaboration with colleagues;
•    Executing impactful projects and analyses for business development, innovation and the development of propositions;
•    Working on a variety of strategic projects: market analysis, identification of new opportunities for Eneco, evaluation of business cases, building financial models, designing strategies and supervising implementation;
•    Giving advice for decision making and carrying out improvement projects in the area of strategy and policy;
You will lead small teams that provide sound and well-founded advice to Management Teams, Business Unit Directors and the Management Board.

You will have a flexible workspace at our modern, bright headquarters in Rotterdam. You can walk from Rotterdam Alexander station to your desk in just a few minutes. Although it might take a little longer if you chat with a colleague on the way. At Eneco we work hybrid. That means that you work partly from home.
