The Asset Management & Operations team makes an important contribution to continuous improvement based on its knowledge and experience.

What are you going to do?

Improving the performance and costs of our operational wind turbines while maintaining an acceptable risk profile. In this position you are responsible for the Wind Turbine (WTG) scope of both Prinses Amalia Windpark and Luchterduinen. Your result areas are operational performance (availability & production), costs and risk management (asset integrity). You contribute to the Asset Management strategy to facilitate and guarantee long-term value creation.

You are responsible for:

  • Safe operation of the wind turbines, contribute to pro-active safety culture;
  • Discuss with Maintenance suppliers any observed deviations and request evidence;
  • Allocation of downtime related to availability warranty and weekly alignment with the service provider;
  • Perform statistical trend analysis of the production disruption causes as well as the maintenance and inspection activities;
  • Weekly and monthly reporting related to production, WTG availability and reliability, maintenance progress and review of the availability imbalance (PPA);
  • Support contract management and commercial management of the project;
  • Initiate annual owner's inspections and follow-up;
  • Validation of performed services of the maintenance invoices;
  • Risk management according to set frameworks.

  • Master degree or equivalent level of education, general engineering or technical qualification;

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing English and Dutch;
  • Experience within contract management;
  • Be results-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to 'get things done'.

Where are you going to work?

The WTG and Balance of Plant teams are part of the Offshore Wind Asset Management & Operations department together with a team of Asset analysts and Specialists in the field of HSE and Ecology. The majority of the team is based in our O&M hub in IJmuiden overlooking the North Sea. Other team members are based in our satellite office in Ostend and Eneco HQ in Rotterdam. You will report to the lead WTG asset manager. Because of Covid-19 is the majority of the team currently working from home, but Eneco expects to be able to start with the new office policy after this summer: 40% of the week at the office, 40% working from home and 20% flexible.

What do we have to offer?

  • A gross annual salary between € 50,000 and € 80,000 depending on knowledge and experience;
  • Flex budget of 13% (including holiday pay) which can be used for additional leave;
  • Compensation for offshore work, overtime hours or standby duty according to industry standard;
