It is our ambition to build an Eneco portfolio that is fully sustainable with zero CO2 emissions by 2035. This requires CO2 free flexibility to balance our intermittent wind and solar production. The S&O Commodities & Flex team is settings its targets to build this Eneco portfolio in North Western Europe. You will be working in a dynamic, diverse, enthusiastic, innovative and above all highly motivated work environment.
As Commercial Analyst you will be responsible for management and the improvement of existing and new contracts. You work in an international market. You built your knowledge on market rules and regulations that influence the commercial aspects of deals and develop your understanding on the content and dynamics of complex contracts. You will have an eye for different interests of stakeholders and (learn to) resolve issues with creativity and together with the team reach a successful deal. In short, you enable and work alongside the structurers in the team to create results to contribute to a sustainable future. As a Commercial Analyst you will have the opportunity to grow into a Structurer position.
Together with your colleagues and with your dedication to be successful, Eneco will be in a position to manage its portfolio as good as possible and to maintain and extend its portfolio in the North Western part of the European energy market.
Structuring & Origination (S&O) is a department within the business unit Eneco Energy Trade (EET) - the international trading department of Eneco - where we work with about 140 professional colleagues on the success of Eneco. The department can be a busy and sometimes hectic environment. We are agile and communicate in an informal and collegial manner.
S&O consists of 3 specialties, where S&O Commodities & Flex bears the responsibility for closing (non-) standards sourcing and sales contracts for the supply of electricity with large counterparties. Also S&O C&F manages the contracts with power plants, battery projects and TSO's. Next to that we actively search for flexibility to balance the Eneco portfolio and the team is involved in larger projects and negotiations of other Eneco business units that require knowledge and expertise of the energy commodity markets. You will be joining a friendly, driven team of 10 persons who loves to do sporting activities together and go out for drinks so now and then.
Other specialties within the Eneco Trade department are aimed at contracting wind and solar production and selling that production to large corporate clients (S&O Client sources) and developing commercial activities in the UK (S&O UK).
