This is done by propagating and further developing the Eneco Quality Assurance (QA) strategy and put effort in helping teams implement this within their environments. The engineer understands the goals of QA and Eneco in general, and has the verbal skills to be able to enforce following up on the QA strategy and further spread this within the organization . The engineer provides hands on support, gives advice, and supports in the development of generic solutions that can be used broadly within the platforms and IT teams working on those platforms. Enforcing the standards for topics like CI/CD, automated testing, IT4IT tooling, monitoring, cloud, platforms within the organization.

What are you going to do?

Standardize, Automate and a high level of self service is key to enable the DevOps teams within Eneco. Enforcing the standards for topics like CI/CD, automated testing, IT4IT tooling, monitoring, cloud, platforms within the organization.

You are responsible for:

  • Rolling out the Quality Assurance (QA) Strategy by orchestrating and supporting the DevOps teams in applying the strategy for the various topics;
  • Designing, developing and continuously improving ways to orchestrate and support the QA maturity of the IT teams (Plan, do, act, check);
  • Experimenting with new technologies and building & maintaining standard way of working and solutions (IT4IT) which will be used by Eneco DevOps teams;
  • Actively engaging with different IT teams, stakeholders and partners to spot opportunities for improvement;
  • Showing entrepreneurship to be able to continuously improve.

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as DevOps/QA engineer or consultant in an agile environment;
  • Proficient in English;
  • Broad understanding of DevOps, DevOps tooling , Cloud Computing and Quality Assurance;
  • Basic knowledge of SAFe and agile terminology and principles.

Where are you going to work?

The department where you are going to work will be IT Operations. Within IT Operations we have 3 sub departments (Tactical Partner Management, Digital Workspace and IT Operations itself).

Within IT Operations you will be part of the System Team.
This is a young and dynamic team with a good balance in skills, knowledge and experience. To be able to develop yourself and the team further is an important aspect of the department's mindset. 
On a regular base, the team and department meet up outside the office for a drink or other activities.

What do we have to offer?

  • We reward you with a gross annual salary between € 50.000,- And € 71.000,- (annual salary including 8% holiday allowance based on a full-time annual contract), depending on knowledge and experience;
  • An additional flexible budget of 14% of your gross annual salary (for buying extra days of i.e.);
