Eneco Wind Operations Offshore (EWOO) is responsible for operations of the Prinses Amalia Windpark (120MW), Luchterduinen (129MW), Blauwwind (731,5MW) and Two Towers (19MW) in the Netherlands. This portfolio will be expanded with the Crosswind (760MW) project which will be commissioned in 2023Q4.

Wat ga je doen?

You will be responsible for the electrical safety of our offshore windfarms which includes transformers, switchgears, array cables and for the older windfarms also the export cables, high voltage substations and Wind Turbines. You will act as a Nominated Person in Control of the Electrical Installations (NPCEI) in accordance with the European standard NEN-EN 50110 and the Dutch standards NEN 3140 and NEN 3840 ("installatieverantwoordelijke").

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Safe operation of the windfarms, contribute to pro-active safety culture;
  • Electrical installations in cooperation with own personnel and external contractors;
  • Preparing and maintaining of technical documentation;
  • Review and approval of work method statements, switching letters and operational procedures;
  • Execution of audits;
  • Ensuring that a policy for appointing persons is in place and securing that the relevant persons are appointed to their roles according to the Safe System of Work and the relevant legislation;
  • Managing the technical interface with TSO TenneT and other stakeholders;
  • Ensure inspection, maintenance, fault diagnosis and investigation of incidents of all electrical equipment;
  • Compliance of all work activities in accordance with the Eneco electrical safe system of work.

Wat breng je mee?

You can quickly master your new environments and situations. You have focus, attention to detail and execution power. This allows you to achieve the intended objectives in an ever-changing environment.

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent level of education, in electrical engineering;
  • Minimum of 5 years of high voltage experience as a Senior Authorised Person;
  • Experience with operations of HV equipment, preferably in offshore wind or HV grid;
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexible approach to travel and working offshore;
  • Detailed knowledge of NEN3840, NEN3140 and EN50110.

An ambitious and successful player in offshore wind who dares to make innovative choices. Eneco Wind Operations Offshore (EWOO) has an O&M hub in IJmuiden (NL) and Ostend (BE) from where several windfarms are being operated. EWOO consists of WTG and BOP teams, a team of Asset analysts and specialists in the field of HSE and Ecology. You will work with a team of electrical engineers who prepare, coordinate and supervise offshore work activities, both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You will report directly to the Manager Asset Management & Operations Offshore Wind and will be nominated by the project directors of the windfarms.
