You will start in the role of Operational Readiness Engineer and technically support the Crosswind operations manager to ensure operational readiness of this new offshore windfarm. The scope includes - but not limited to - execution operation readiness plan, implementation of service & maintenance agreements, development Crosswind asset management system and prepare the commissioning of the SGRE Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs).
Key delivery will ensuring all design for Operations have been implemented then leading the pre-start readiness for Operations and ensuring all handover and documentation is complete and ready for audit. This will include project systems, processes and their alignment with the O&M contractors to be ready before first generation.
You will return to Eneco Wind Operations Offshore (EWOO) as WTG asset manager once commissioning and hand-over has finished, expected in Q4 2023. In the operational phase you will be responsible for improving the performance and costs of the operational wind turbines while maintaining an acceptable risk profile.
You are a technical O&M expert supporting the design risk assessment, commissioning and - most importantly - preparation of operations specifically for the WTG package. Experience with balance of plant (BoP) is a welcome addition. Some activities will be executed for the first time or will have to be improved - and hence a high degree of flexibility and 'out of the box' thinking to enable safe technical operation integration are a necessity.
During the first three years it will be a secondment position from EWOO into CrossWind (legal entity). The Crosswind project team works from a Rotterdam-based office both virtually as well as face-to-face. You will be a member of the multidisciplinary project team with diverse backgrounds (partners, consultants, contractors, nationalities).
Eneco Wind Operations Offshore has an O&M hub in IJmuiden (NL) from where also Crosswind will be operated after completion. EWOO consists of WTG and BOP teams, a team of Asset analysts and specialists in the field of HSE and Ecology. You will report directly to the Manager Asset Management & Operations Offshore Wind.
