What you’ll do

 

Within Data & Technology Services (DTS), we facilitate all Eneco business units with scalable data and IT solutions, including core business applications, data, integration, enabling platforms and IT-infrastructure. To be successful and productive in an ever changing organization, it is important to capture information about our way of working and make it easily accessible to all employees. We are looking for an energetic content manager to play a key role in this.

 

The Technology Strategy team within DTS is responsible for IT strategy, Enterprise architecture, Portfolio management and IT way of working, and advises the DTS management team on these topics. In 2023, we have launched a first version of our content framework on SharePoint to inform new and existing employees on our way of working, processes and roles & responsibilities. As our new content manager, you will build on this framework and be responsible for the content strategy for DTS.

 

Is this about you?

As our new Content Manager, you have a strong understanding of IT and data related processes, methodologies and best practices. You combine excellent communication with social skills, being able to connect with various people in the organization. Furthermore you have:

 

  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree, e.g. Communication, Media & information management, IT management.
  • Between 2-5 years of experience, 2+ years in the field of content management
  • Ability to understand complex information and transform it into high quality content catered to the needs of user groups.
  • Technical proficiency in SharePoint and similar content management tools
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills, on both technical and visual design aspects.
  • English professional working proficiency – we have a growing number of English-speaking staff and most content will be published / communicated in English.
  • Proactive attitude, is eager to learn and able to get to the core of our IT processes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You’ll be responsible for

You will build on the content framework and are responsible for the content strategy to capture, structure and maintain content on our IT way of working, and to advocate the use of content to improve the quality of DTS products and processes. Ultimately, this will make our work more productive so we can focus even more on achieving our business goals. You will also support DTS management by designing management presentations and communication, to inform employees and stakeholders on important topics, for example business plan updates, strategic progress or management updates. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:

 

Capture content

  • Define the content strategy, aligned to short-term and long-term goals.
  • Search proactively for IT related content that is relevant to internal user groups, e.g. content related to way of working, processes, roles & responsibilities.

 

Structure, maintain and improve content

  • Build relationships with experts and stakeholders within DTS, CDO and Business units to stay informed on relevant development related to data and technology.
  • Configure, maintain and optimize content management tooling such as SharePoint, based on user statistics, feedback and available technologies.
  • Identify new content, (market) developments and advise DTS management on opportunities to change, standardize or optimize processes, guidelines, standards, etc.
  • Coordinate initiatives to improve content and/or way of working, involving specialists from multiple teams / departments

 

Publish & advocate the use of content

  • Communicate to existing and (potential) new users to inform them of content updates or features.
  • Make sure new employees are informed about available content and its application to their work.

 

Design management presentations

  • Support MT-DTS with advanced presentation design, ensuring that presentations are both visually appealing and effectively convey the intended message.

This is where you’ll work

You will be working in the Technology Strategy team, which is responsible for enterprise architecture, portfolio management, IT way of working, and advising the DTS management team on business planning and various strategic topics.

 

The team currently consists of 3 enterprise architects and 1 Internationalization manager, with vacancies for 1 change portfolio manager and 1 content manager. You will be working closely with the Head of Technology strategy, and will connect independently with many people across our organization, including DTS management, subject matter experts, technology consultants, business stakeholders and more - wherever there is content to find or improve!

What we have to offer

Gross annual salary between €60.000 and €80.000

Including 8% holiday allowance, a good pension and parental leave.
