What you’ll do

This role requires a balance between improving our current OT network structure and navigating towards future-oriented, cloud-driven IoT solutions. You will take the lead in securing connections, ensuring the continuity of our assets, and innovating within an ever-changing technological and regulatory environment. With an eye on the future, you will focus not only on improving third-party access and phasing out outdated technologies but also on exploring new security initiatives and practically applying innovations that strengthen our operational technology. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Initiating and guiding innovative projects to optimize and secure IT/OT processes.
  • Developing robust, scalable solutions in collaboration with architects, security, and operational specialists, focused on standardizing (international) processes.
  • Translating customer needs and business trends into IT/OT solutions, with a focus on platform thinking.
  • Shaping the IT/OT strategy for renewable energy assets.
  • Designing secure network solutions for various operational technologies and improving the connectivity of different assets.
  • Increasing cybersecurity maturity, including the practical application of the latest security innovations.
  • Participating in standby services to provide continuous support.

Is this about you?

  • A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in the role of an architect with specialization in networks, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, ideally within IT/OT environments.
  • Practical experience in applying technologies and streamlining processes, with experience in change management.
  • Proven expertise in managing mission-critical systems, with the ability to effectively identify and mitigate risks. Knowledge of IT/OT security standards and regulations such as ISO 27k, IEC 62443, and NIS2.
  • Excellent command of both English and Dutch, in speaking and writing. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and developments in both OT and IT.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Bringing together people, processes, and technology with an emphasis on IT/OT.
  • Shaping the IT/OT roadmap for renewable energy assets from your area of expertise.
  • Encouraging a culture where safety awareness and best practices within IT/OT are an integral part of daily operations.
  • Overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge security technologies and innovations within IT/OT systems.

This is where you’ll work

You will join an enthusiastic team with motivated colleagues within the Business Technology Assets department. This team consists of approximately 35 colleagues, including IT, IoT, and OT teams. It is a dynamic team with a wide range of expertise and interests. You will collaborate daily with both your department and external stakeholders.

Gross annual salary between €80.000 and €103.000

Including 8% holiday allowance, a good pension and parental leave.
